OSCAR FOLLMER, 82 JASPER, DIES

Daniel Oscar Follmer, 82, retired Jasper farmer, implement dealer and service station operator, died at 7 last night in McCune-Brooks Hospital. He had been a patient in the hospital two weeks.

He was born August 27, 1877 in the Zion community east of Jasper, and spent his entire lifetime in that area. On March 31, 1907 Mr. Follmer was married in Carthage to Miss Ollie Johnson. He engaged in farming until 1921. Later he was in the implement business in Jasper and prior to his retirement about six years ago operated a service station there.

He is survived by his wife.

The funeral will be at 2 tomorrow afternoon at the Selvey Funeral Home in Jasper. the Rev. Tom Proctor of Greenfield will officate.

Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery. Mrs. John Campbell will sing.

Pallbearers will be Frank Johnson, Jim Johnson, Vincent Johnson, Fred Hubbard, Ward Sunderland and Herbert Wood.
