  3.   Source:Farwell, John Dennis. Farwell Family : A History of Henry Farwell and His Wife Olive (Welby) Farwell of Boston, England, and Concord and Chelmsford,, p. 1:129, seems to deviate considerably from the obvious records.
*It says his wife died in 1804 when the record says (albeit ambiguously) that she d. 1784. The records of this family seem to have been communicated to the town clerk in 1805, decades after they occurred. possibly on the occasion of his second marriage?
*It says Daniel [#273] d. Ipswich 27 May 1815. No such death is recorded in Ipswich or Fitchburg. He appears to have been buried in Fitchburg.
*This source says the settlement of the estate, which was administered by son Asa, mentions 7 children, but the only appropriate probate file in Worcester might not be his, judging by the size and sparseness? (Case 20067: Daniel Farwell in Fitchburg in 1808, possibly his father - in addition to 20068, for his son in 1816 - add to the confusion.): Case 20069
19 Nov 1816: Bond of Asa Farwell yeoman of Fitchburg as administrator of the Estate of Daniel Farwell late of Fitchburgh aforesaid deceased
27 Nov 1816: Inventory of estate of Daniel Farwell late of Fitchburg in the County of Worcester yeoman, deceased: $187.94.
4 Apr 1817: Account of Asa Farwell Adm'r of the Estate of Daniel Farwell late of Fitchburg dec'd
Presumably any settlement was done as a deed?
