Will Transcript

In the Name of God Amen

I Daniel Bryant considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound and perfect mind and memory before the Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this Last Will and Testament in the following manner and form (That is to say)

First I give and bequeath unto my three youngest sons Henry Bryant, Daniel Bryant and Jackson Bryant one hundred and twenty five dollars each. I also give and bequeath unto my two youngest daughters Mahala Bryant and Dincy Bryant the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars each which said legacies of sums of money I will and order shall be paid to the said respective legatees when they respectively become of lawful age or get married. I further will, give and devise unto my two youngest sons Daniel Bryant and Jackson Bryant their heirs and alsigns forever which they are to receive at the death of my wife. Also my sons Darrell Bryant and William Bryant and my daughter Caty Oneal and Malcolm Hall having received that portion of my estate at the time of their marriage which I have designed to give them, they for this reason I will and order do not get any part with the rest of my children.

Lastly to my beloved wife I will give and beqeuth all the remainder of my personal estate, goods, chattels and effects of what kind and nature soever and at the death of my said wife Sibbe Bryant I will tat she distribute the same among so children as she may think proper and I do hereby appointe her my sole Executor of this Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former will by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of January in the year of our lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Nine.

Signed, sealed published and declared by the above named Daniel Bryant to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names, as witnesses in the prescence of the testator.

This day the foregoing Last Will and Testament of Daniel Bryant was produced anew in my office and thereupon came William Willis and William Withrow two of the sipscribing witnesses thereto, who being sworn, seal, said were present and saw and heard the said Danial Bryant, deceased, signed, seal, publish and deliver the foregoing as hand for Last Will and Testament and the sama is correctly recored in my Will Book A I pages.
