!Bartholomew Family History G S film 301118 pg. 86, 87, 119. Children: William, Daniel, Sussannah & Sarah probably died before 1782 as they did not join the other descendants of his mother in deeding the Wallingford home, near the church of their granfather Johnson, dec'd.

    "19 Daniel4 (Bartholomew) (Andrew,3 William,2 William,1) born in Branford, 16 Oct., 1708; married in Wallingford, 9 May, 1731, Sarah daughter of Lieutenant Caleb Johnson of Wallingford. She died before 1752, and he married, second, before 1753 Elizabeth _____, who was born 14 Apr., 1716, and died, 5 Dec., 1785, in her 70th year, He died in Harwinton, Ct., 25 Oct., 1777, in his 70th year. Mr. Bartholomew resided until 1742 in Wallingford and the balance of his life in Harwinton. He was an energetic, prosperous farmer, and frequently called upon to serve the town in various positions. Was the 'tolor and brander of the horsekinde,' key-keeper of the Church, pound-keeper, tithing-man, selectman and with two others had charge of the schools. … His estate was admitted to probate 10 Nov., 1778, his son Jacob being appointed administrator."
