DALE E COPSEY Dale E Copsey, 64, of 8139 Oakwood Drive, died at 7:25 a.m. Thursday, Ju ne 10, 1999, at his residence. He was born Oct. 22, 1934, in Amsden to Robert and Gertrude (Finkenbinde r) Copsey. He married Frances Hazelton on Aug. 20, 1976, in Fostoria and s he survives. Also surviving are two stepsons, Thomas L and E James Jr, both of Findla y; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Michael (Nancy) DuPree, Roswell, N.M; Mrs. T .J (Cindy) Payne, Fostoria; Mrs. Tom (Connie) Stauffer, Findlay; nine step -grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mae Snyd er and Geraldine House, both of Fostoria; Dolly Stephens, Southshore, N. Y. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Olen and Charles; and o ne sister, Ethel Bethel. Mr. Copsey retired from the U.S Air Force. He was a veteran of the U.S Army and Air Force, serving in both the Kore an and Vietnam wars. He earned a bachelor's of science degree in psycholog y/sociology from Eastern New Mexico University. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans, VFW, American Legio n, Civil War Air Patrol and New Mexico State Guard. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Coldren-Crates Funeral H ome, the Rev. Paul E Myers officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 425 Frazer St, Fi ndlay 45840. |
