High School Hospital He had been having very bad headaches previous to his death. And so on April 29th, he and my mother Dorcas, went down to Sayre, Pa to Robert Packer Hospital. It was there that he suffered a major stroke ( 6) blood clots in the jugular artery. He never regained consciousness and on Friday, May 3, 1963, he passed away in the hospital. He was buried that Monday I think.
