Facts and Events
The Indiana winters were very trying for both man and beast. Cyrena added a little comfort to the "two seater" outhouse, by upholstering the seats with flannel. As reported by Glendon Smith in April, 1999. Cyrena (a.k.a. Mom) kept her egg money in a tin that she kicked under the sideboard to hide. When she needed the money she would wait until the room was clear, then retrieve the tin with a yardstick. Glendon & Eddie were young boys at that time, and Glendon said (with a smile,) that not much happened around the farm that he and his brother didn't know about. April 20th, 2003 (Easter).
