    Departed This Life
On Saturday morning Mrs. Kenison, who lives nine miles southwest of Carmen, died. Funeral services were preached by Rev. Tubury Tuesday. She was a kind and loving mother and many friends cherish the memory of her life.

Cynthe Anne Carpenter was born in Guernsey Co. OH, April 27, 1821 and died May 21, 1905, aged 84 years and 24 days. Nov. 16 1843, she married Asa C. Kenison and to this union ten children were born, six of whom survive and have reached maturity.

The family moved to Iowa in 1856, to Kansas in the early days of 1863 and again to Oklahoma in 1897 where they have since made their home with their son J.H. Kenison near Augusta.

Six children, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Kenison and Mrs. G.W. Garvin of Augusta, Mrs. Nancy Muir of Salina Kans., Mrs. J.W. Brewer of Minneapolis, Kans., and Samuel and Earl Kenison of Niles, Kansas.; mourning the death of a dear mother. With the tears of the sorrowing children and aged husband there is mingled the sympathy of many kind friends who realize their grief.
