Curtis wrote 3 books about WWII. “The Army in Review”’ “The Navy in Review”, and “Civil Service Careers for boys”. He was educated at the U of M. He has had an active newspaper and radio career and has served as redio editor for Liberty Magazine, has written juvenile short stories, and edited the Midwest American, after the death of his friend, Walter Liggett. Before joining the army entering WWII, he as picture editor for Mpls. Star Journal.
