According to Burke’s Peerage, Crosbie Charles HARVEY (born 26oct1872, educated at Cheltenham, England, the family being a branch of the Harveys of Bargy Castle) of Broomley House, Kyle, Co. Wexford married 27jun1927 Augustine Ann Leigh, eldest daughter of Francis Leigh. They had issue. Crosbie Charles Harvey, JP, Capt, Waterford RGA, served in S. African War 1899-1902 with Lumsden’s Horse (Burke). Crosbie Charles Harvey was born 25oct1872 at Wexford, son of Crosbie William Harvey and Elizabeth Walker (IGI). Crosbie Charles Harvey was a Coffee Planter at Davekhan Estate, Koppa, Kadur Distt (website on Lumsden’s Horse).
