Cornell J Weltin, 84, 7938 N Twp Rd 75, Green Springs, died Monday at S t. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

He was born in Fremont to Cornelius and Corrine (Babione) Weltin and gradu ated from Old Fort High School in 1937. He married Vivian Kauffman on Sep t. 2, 1941, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin and she survives.

Mr. Weltin was a retired farmer and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Chur ch.

Also surviving are children Cornell Weltin Jr of Olivia, Minn., and Wm Wel tin of Gallion, Ala.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a nd sister LaRue Gabel of Fremont. His parents are deceased.

Visitation: 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Services: 3 p.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. Mark Herzog officiatin g.

Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery.
