Cornelius Wing, tried at the Port Augusta Circuit Courton the 20th March, 1882, for forgery and false pretenses on Frederick Briggs of Port Augusta and Francis Coventry and Ernest Holzburger, at Stirling North; sentences to three years and three months hard labour; a native of Sheffield; a carpenter; born 1839;m height 5ft 8in; complexion fair; hair, sandy red; eyes, grey-hazel; nose, pointed and pockmarked; mouth, rather large; chin, pointed; vaccine both arms; scar, right cheek.Freedom due July 26th 1884.
