B1843-B167 refers to Bergthal Gemeinde Buch, page B167. Schoenwiese/ER refers to a village in the Mennonite East Reserve of Manitoba, Canada.
In the published book, the ship is identified as S. S. Peruvian No. 27, arriving in Quebec in July 1874. In an online version (created 2001), it is identified as S. S. Peruvian No. 47, arriving in Quebec on July 27, 1874.
