'Braintree Vital Records give the following children born there to Dennis and Hannah Darling:
    ... Cornelius Darling, born January 4, 1663, died March 11, 1663.'

NOTE: This source interprets the dates in the Vital Records using new-style dating (1 mo = Jan.), whereas it was likely old-style dating.

'Cornelius Darly the sone of Denice Darly & Hanna his wife was borne 1 mo. 4th 1663.'

Starting about 1655, Braintree records start to change from a predominantly day, month, year format to a predominantly month, day, year format. This particular record comes immediately before one for '1 mo. 17, 1663' - clearly a month, day, year format. While I would normally interpret the year as 1663/64, this is clearly 1662/63, based on his date of death.

'Cornelius Darly the sone of Denice Darly & Hanna his wife dyed 3 mo 11th 1663.'

Starting about 1655, Braintree records start to change from a predominantly day, month, year format to a predominantly month, day, year format. This particular record comes immediately before one for '3d mo. 17th 1663' - clearly a month, day, year format.
