LAND: In May 1630 buys a house in Gorinchem from Jasper Jans de Bie. According to the deed of sale dated 30 May 1630 the house is "from way back" known as 't Groen Laken (the green cloth?), and is situated on the Langendijk (long dike). Cornelis Willemsen already lives in Sleeuwijk and in 1631 leased the house back to the former owner (de Bie) for 15 guilders. At that time the house is called "Dordt" which could indicate that Cornelis Willemsen originally came from Dordrecht. Deed of sale dated June 11, 1632 Cornelis Willemsen sells the house "Dordt, from way back known as t' Groen Laken to Jan Claes Reeder. When the house was demolished, the tablet with the name "Dordt" was saved and is now kept in the Archeological Museum in Gorinchem.
