Gender Male
Birth[3] Abt 1602 Westbroek, Netherlands
Immigration[1] 1637 Albany, New York(Beverwyck)

He usually used the surname "Bos," "Bosch," or "Bush," and by one account was among several under contract from Westbroek with Killiaen Van Rensselaer to emigrate to his manor at Rensselaerwyck. He came on the "Rensselaerwyck," leaving Amsterdam September 1636 and arriving in New Amsterdam, March 1637. By another account he came to America in 1631 as servant to Cornelis Maas Van Buren, becoming a trader by 1654 when he shipped 700 beavers to Manhattan. On 30 July 1658 he bought a house and lot from Jan Teunisen, and then sold him a garden on 3 January 1659. He was frequently brought before the court for various offenses. He may have been a son of Teunis Reyersen and Jannetje Janse of Westbroek, and brother of Jan Teunisen, but it is not proved.
