Spent almost her entire life in Springboro, except for about 3 years in Lima.

Aunt Nelia, as she was commonly known by her many friends and associates, was of a very quiet, loving disposition, offering assistance wherever needed, and many recalled the kind deeds rendered. She was deeply interested in the Methodist church and in earlier years attended regularly, and was always an active member of the Ladies' Aid Society.

When she died, the funeral was held from her late home on a Saturday afternoon, and was conducted by Rev. Wright, of the U.B. Church. Interment was made in the Springboro Cemetery.
