Obituary[7] 6 Jul 1928 Phillips, July 5---Mrs. Cora Stinchfield died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred McLaughlin, July 4, at about 11 a.m. She had been afflicted with a bad heart troube for some time, having severe attacks occasionally which confined her to the bed. She had recovered quite nicely from the touble until about two months ago, since which time she had again been confined to the bed, suffering intensely much of the time. Besides her daughters, her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Anna Stinchfield has been caring for her.
Mrs. Stinchfield was the daughter of James and Jemima Dow Kinney and was born in Madrid, March 18, 1862. Her husband was George Stinchfield, who passed away several years ago. The deceased leaves two daughters, Mrs. Bonney Webber and Mrs. Fred McLaughlin; four grandchildren, Coleman, Opal and Lucille Webber and Mrs. Cora McLaughlin Worcester; two brothers, Bert and Leonard Kinney all of this town; and several nieces and nephews. Her son Lynwood died a few years ago, and one brother.
Mrs. Stinchfield was always active in the church and other organizations of the town. She was a member of the Baptist church, Social Service club, grange, W. C. T. U. and Park Street club.
