Cora May Beal, 85, of Meyersdale, died June 15, 1987, at the Meyersdale Hospital. Born March 9, 1902, in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ella (Stonebreaker) Carothers. She is survived by three sons: Bruce, of Samola, Fla.; Harry, of Meyersdale RD 3, and Francis, of Meyersdale RD 4; and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Sechler, Meyersdale; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one sister, Leda Detrow, of Hollidaysburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, and one son, James. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Milton Morris officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
