    "7. Consider4 (Hopkins) (John,3 Stephen,2 John1), b. at Hartford 10 May 1687; bapt. 30 October 1688; … He d. at Hartford 20 January 1726-27. (Goodwin's Genl. Notes.) Consider and his wife were among those to form the church at West Hartford. His wife was an original member in 1713, and he owned the covenant 22 February 1718, and was admitted in March 1725. The inventory of his estate, taken 21 February 1726-27, amounted to £624-01-00, of which the eldest son John5 received in land £588. (Probate side Hartford Records, 14:173.)"

    Page 84 (Vol XI) 6 March, 1732-3: John Hopkins, a minor, 18 years, and Elizabeth 17 years, chose their mother Elizabeth Hopkins to be their guardian. And this Court appoint Elizabeth Hopkins, widow, to be guardian unto Asa Hopkins 13 years, Consider 10, and Elias 7 years, all children of Consider Hopkins, late decd. Recog., £200.
