Revolutionary War Pension file says he came to America with Burgoyne's army but soon changed sides. Applied for pension 24 Sep 1832 as a resident of New Haven, Oswego, NY. Stated he also lived at Eastown in Saratoga County, (now WA Co. NY). Was at the battle of Saratoga. Another application dated 15 May 1847 suggests his age could be around 85. Unable to write, signed his name with a mark. This application was denied.
