16 May 2005 phone call from Earie Ward (83 yrs. old son of Hattie Hubbard Ward with Email of [email protected] confirmed much of my data on Hubbard and Ward, but we agreed that we both communicated with Janet Hubbard and likely all have copied much of the same data from each other. His primary concern was to find someone who could explain to his daughter why people thought their ancestors were Germans when they kept saying that they were "Pennsylvannia Dutch". Of course it is Deutch, as I explained to him. We may communicate some more. I explained to him that I call his family line my "Jonas Braucht" line because Jonas was as far back as I have been able to document on that line.
