In 1921 Colin Ross bought G.C. Moon's shoe business and shortly afterwards moved his business to 51 Durham St. S. In 1932 it became known as Ross Ladies Wear and in 1957, Colin turned the business over to his son Thomas A. Ross. An extension was built on the premises in 1971 thus enlarging the show and storage room.
