Big Bend Empire 22 Jan 1920 ORONDO STORE SOLD: Capt. E. J. Forsythe has purchased the store at Orondo of Mrs. Clyde Trapp. He has also purchased of L. A. Haskins, a ten acre orchard at Orondo located just south of the Community Packing Shed. The store will be in charge of his nephew, Clyde Power. Capt. Forsythe expects to give a get acquainted dance in the hall soon [this first reported in the Wenatchee World]

from the Waterville Empire Press 9 Feb 1922 Clyde Trapp was a Waterville visitor Monday. Mr. Trapp is at the head of the Orondo Packing Co., and was looking after business in connection with the foreclosure proceedings which his company has underway against the Orondo Light & Water Co. Mr. Trapp's company is owned by eight growers, who this year had 39 cars of apples for which they have received top prices. They still have some Winesaps in storage in the East, and the market seems to be strong. They sold a couple of cars of fancy grade recently which netted the growers $1.90

Big Bend Empire 28 Apr 1921 Church services were held at Trapp's hall Sunday evening. A large congregation was assembled to hear Rev. Ferguson, and the outlook is promising for the establishment of a community church in Orondo.
