I think that I have accidentally merged information about two different men. Harold Clifford Allen/Clifford C. Allen/Clifford Allen? I think one of these men was white and born in Missouri. The other served in the segregated 555th Parachute Battalion (colored) and was born in Arkansas. Both were born in 1920 and served in WWII, so this leads to confusion.
