Cletus Trueblood, 66-year-old Burley resident, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at home with his daughters by his side.
Cletus was born Sept. 4, 1941, in Salem, Ind., the son of Russell Har-rison and Mary Catherine Trueblood. Cletus joined the Air force in 1960, where he was a jet engine mechanic. In 1988, he opened his own auto repair business in Burley, Clete's Auto Repair, or as he called it, "The Main Shop."
Cletus is survived by his seven daughters, Cathey Trueblood, Deanna Trueblood, Rita Scranton, Tina Garmon, Misty Chapa, Torri Petersen and Angie Trueblood; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his father, Russell; four brothers, Richard, Paul, Raymond and Warren; and two sisters, Sue and Alice. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda; mother, Mary; and two sisters, Doris and Judy.
