Cletus Bernard Hoffman April 29, 1936 -- June 6, 2003

Cletus Bernard Hoffman, 67, of 1105 Smith Rd, Fremont, died Friday eveni ng at home. He was born on April 29, 1936 in Fremont to the late Berna rd G and Cecelia C (Hammer) Hoffman. On May 18, 1957 he married Anna L Slo ma in St. Joseph Catholic Church. He worked for the Iron Workers Union Loc al 55 in Toledo and retired in 1985. Clete was a member of Sacred Heart Ca tholic Church and its men's club, the Moose Lodge and Eagles.

He is survived by his wife Anna of Fremont; daughters, Cecelia (Mark) Auxt er of Fremont, Cynthia Hoffman of Fremont; sons James C (Judy) Hoffm an of Fremont, John B (Leanna) Hoffman of Pemberville; brothers Carl G Hof fman of Gibsonburg, Lawrence J Hoffman of Fostoria, George L Hoffman of Li ndsey; sisters Catherine Lotyez of Fremont, Bernadine Esker of Helena, Ma ry Lou Stults of Fremont and Agnes Peiffer of Fremont.

Visitation: Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kelle r-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, with a Christian wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Burial: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:30 a. m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The burial will be at St. Joseph Catho lic Cemetery.

Memorials: Memorials may be made in Clete's name to Sacred Heart Cathol ic Church or Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
