Obituary, The Augusta Chronicle March 12, 2000: Mrs. Cleo Tullis Retired sales clerk Mrs. Cleo R. Tullis, 85, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at her residence. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Dayspring Baptist Church with Dr. James A. Perkins and the Rev. Ronnie Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Church Cemetery. Mrs. Tullis, a native of Hart County, had retired as a sales clerk from Fort Gordon Post Exchange. She was a member of Dayspring Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Ronnie Tullis, Augusta; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Turner, Dennis Caddell, Billy Garrison and Mike Brantley. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Poteet Funeral Home, Wheeler Road.
