    Mrs. C. MacLachlan Dies at Eskbank
    Eskbank, Sask., May 13. - The death of Mrs. Clementine Pearl MacLachlan occurred Friday at the farm home near Eskbank, Death was due to heart failure aggravated by a severe attack of whooping cough from which the deceased was just recovering.
    Deceased was born in Ontario. After graduating from a business college, she came west and occupied several office positions. In 1924 she married J.D. MacLachlan and has been an active of the Eskbank community ever since. She held the position of school trustee for three years and was in her fourth year as secretary-treasurer of the Eskbank S.D. She was also an active church and Sunday school worker and was a member of the Eyebrow lodge of the Eastern Star.
    She is survived by her husband, her parents living in Brussels, Ont., one brother, George Darke, of White Fox, Sask., and six children. Marjorie, residing with relatives in Kyle, Sask., and Harold, Norine, Clare, Gordon and Donald, all at home.
    She was predeceased in 1927 by her only sister Isabel Phillips, formerly of Briercrest and Rouleau.
    Funeral services were held in the Eskbank public school, and interment made in Eyebrow cemetery.
