    Jane Frakes McCain, 53, of Memphis, Tenn. and Como, Miss. passed away Dec. 2, 1995 at Baptist Memorial hospital in Memphis.

    She was the daughter of the late James Grant Frakes and Ardith Jarboe Myrick.

    Jane was born in Caruthersville and graduated from Caruthersville High School in 1960. She attended Southeast Missouri State University.

    She is survived by her husband, William M. McCain; a son, Jerry W. Taylor, Jr. of Poplar Bluff, a step-daughter, Phyllis Friend of Rosemark, Tenn.; a step-son, Bob McCain of Clinton, Miss.; her mother, Ardith Jarboe Myrick of Caruthersville and a sister, Norma F. Ketchum of Memphis. She also leaves two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

    Services were held at 10 a.m., Dec. 4, 1995 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel.

    Graveside services and interment were held at Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville with Dr. Paul Currie officiating.
