Clarence Herman Spoon October 15, 2007 1:25 PM (Burlington Times News) Clarence Herman Spoon SNOW CAMP — Mr. Clarence Herman Spoon, 67, of 5737 Friendship-Patterson Mill Road, Snow Camp, died suddenly at his residence on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 8:45 a.m. A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Loraine Spoon, who survives, and the son of Herman Spoon and Roshell Williams Spoon, both deceased. He was a carpenter and cabinet maker for Newlin Hardware. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time hunting with his son, Jeff. In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include one son, Jeff Spoon and wife, Melissa, of Burlington; two sisters, Nora Lee Shelley and husband, Harold, and Margaret Crawford and husband, Larry, all of Graham; and a brother-in-law, William “Bill” Albright and wife, Harriett of Burlington. The funeral will be conducted at Friendship United Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Stacey Graves. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m., and at other times they will be at the residence.
