OBITUARY CLARENCE J. GUSSERT NOV. 21, 1904 - MAY 17, 1992

Clarence J Gussert, 87, died Sunday at a local convalescent home. He was born in Greenleaf to the late Emil and Catherine (Gonnering) Gussert. He married the former Stella Seidl July 8, 1927, she preceded him in death in 1989. Clarence had owned and operated the Silver Rail Bar, The Champion Bar and The 400 Bar. He also had been employed by the Shruve Popcorn, The Bohemian Bakery and Kaaps. He was a charted member and honorary member of Pazaza Club. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Vernon and Lorraine Gussert, Green Bay; one daughter Beverly Smits and her friend Ward Axelson, Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs Genevieve Parmentier, Green Bay and Irene Gussert, Fonddulac; 12 Grandchildren, nine Great-Grandchildren. Friends may call at Lyndahl Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday at St Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Flannery officiating. Burial in the Allouez Cemetery.
