Louisa Godfroy Birth: 1860 Death: unknown Burial: Francis Godfroy Cemetery, Peru, Miami County, Indiana, USA Memorial #: 37573299 Bio: Louisa Godfroy was listed on Annuity Pay-Roll of the Eel River Miami Tribe of Indians for May 29, 1889. Lousia Godfroy's Native American name was not listed, however she was listed as wife of Peter Godfroy and daughter of "Shingo-quah".
"John Aveline and Louis "Shaw-pin-e-maw" were listed as sons of Shingo-quah" and may have been Louisa's brothers. Martha "Me-Shah-ka-tokqua or Mi-Shah-Ka-to-qua" Aveline was listed as wife of Louis Aveline and daughter of "Wah-puk-kc-ze-quah".
Clarence "Co-pier-gah" Godfroy, "Gabriel "She-que-ah" Godfroy and Ira S. "To-cin-yah" Godfroy were listed as Louisa's sons. Lizzie "Kin-no-qe-quah" Godfroy was listed as Louisa's daughter. John "Wah-sup" Godfroy was listed in the same sequence but without any reference to parents.
