I have 2 different places of birth for Clarence Clayton Whiting Gibson, but have not been able to confirm either one of them. So I have Wendell,Massachusetts or Shutesville, Massachusetts, same area, in northernFranklin County. At the time of their marriage Clarence listed his place of residence asTroy, New Hampshire.

Through stories I was told that Clarence was a teamster, which means hedrove a team of horses. Carrie took in laundry. Clarence drove a teamfor a doctor and was paid $1.00 a week. Now we know why Carrie didlaundry!

Clarence was buried in Spring Hill Cemetery in Springfield, Vermont in1907 but was removed in 1920. I have no idea where to or why he wasremoved.
