Mrs. Clara K. Beckley, 82, a resident of the Great Trail Nursing Center in Minerva and formerly of Kilgore, died Tuesday in Alliance City Hospital following a brief illness. She was born August 29, 1905 in Jefferson County, a daughter of the late John S. and Rachel (Karns) Randolph. She was a member of the Kilgore Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was married February 5, 1929 to James Beckley, who died September 2, 1966.
Survivors include two sons, Frank and John, both of Kilgore; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Florence) Eick of Minerva; a stepson, Merle Beckley of Kilgore; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Wayne of Alliance; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were held Friday at the Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Ferris officiating. Burial was in Kilgore Cemetery.
