  4. Mrs. Clara Turner, age 71, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cook Allen, in Hopewell, VA, last Sunday afternoon following a heart attack suffered a few hours earlier. She was the widow of the late Bunion Turner, and her home was Mineral Bluff. At the time of her death she was visiting with her daughter.
    Surviving are three sons; Earl, Leonard and Glenn Turner, four daughters, Mrs. Poley German, Mrs. Cook Allen, Mrs. Floyd Bodenhomer and Mrs. Clint Goss. Two brothers, Julius and John Plenaman and three sisters, Mrs. Miller Starks, Mrs. Ida Cobb and Mrs. Minnie Bell Watson. funeral services were held from the Epworth Baptist Church on Wednesday afternoon. July 11, interment in the Epworth Cemetery. Chastain Funeral Home in charge.
