  2.   Clara Phillips Geisinger, in Find A Grave.

    Reading Eagle, April 17, 1957:
Two Berks County residents were killed at approximately 7:10 o'clock last night when the car in which they were riding was struck by a Reading Co. freight train at Huey's Crossing on the East Penn Branch near Blandon.

The victims were Alvin D. Fritzinger, 73, a tinsmith, who was the driver of the car, and Mrs. Clara Geisinger, 54. Both resided at Blandon. They were the ninth and tenth traffic fatalities for Berks County this year.

According to Chief of Police Daniel R. Tobias of Maidencreek Township, Fritzinger and Mrs. Geisinger had left the Fritzinger residence shortly before 7 p.m. and had gone to a nearby farm for eggs. He said they were en route from the farm to Mrs. Geisinger's residence when the car was struck.

Mrs. Geisinger, the widow of Charles Geisinger, was born in Jacksonville, Lehigh County, the daughter of the late Harvey and Katie (Fusselman) Phillips. She was a member of the Maidencreek Evangelical and Reformed Church, Blandon, and a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Blandon and Virginville Fire companies.

She is survived by the following children: Harold, Fleetwood R.D. 3; Ella, wife of Kermit Hilbert, Breinigsville; Mae, wife of John Trexler, Allentown; Charles, with the U.S Air Force at George Air Force Base, Calif.; Wayne, of Reading; Betty, wife of Martin Spraut, both of Reading, and Lee and Carl, both at home; 19 grandchildren; a sister, Lovie, wife of Lloyd Burgert, Fleetwood R.D. 1, and a brother, Charles, of Florida.

Services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Maidencreek Church, the Rev. C.R. Rahn officiating. Burial will be in Dryville Cemetery. The DeLong and Trexler Funeral Home, Topton, has charge.
