- ↑ possible that 8 year old Clara living with Isaac in 1860 was Isaac and Salome's second daughter as she was born before Salome died in 1855. However, this Clara is not listed in the bible, as Margaret is, so she may be the daughter of Isaac's third wife Mary from a previous marriage.
NOTE: Looks like Minnie purchased bible in 1891 so it was filled in from memory, many years after the fact. If Clara died soon after 1860, Horace may have just forgotten to include her. He did name his oldest daughter Clara so he could have named her after his half-sister Clara!
