It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Cindy Peardon on August 29, 2013 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by many loved ones including Dean, her loving husband of 40 years, children Christy Norrish, Carey (Dax) Langedahl, Jody (Jeff) Stevenson, Ryan (Jenn) Peardon, grandkids Jaden and Tayshia Norrish, Taylor and Riley Langedahl, Chase and Aubrey Stevenson and Jayla and Harper Peardon, brother Bev (Dorota) Bentley, Aunt Dora Flanagan, parents-in-law Lyman and Fern Peardon, brothers and sisters-in-law Deryl (Barb) Peardon, Faye (Warren) Ganes, Trish Peardon, Lynne Knutson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Charles Gordon and Phyllis Gordon and stepfather Wilbur Pollock, brother in law Gary Peardon and numerous aunts and uncles.
Cindy was born on April 27, 1954 in Saskatoon, SK. Growing up as an only child, Cindy always wanted a large family. She found 15 years ago that she had a half brother who has been a part of her life since then.
Raising her family and spending time with Dean were the joys of her life. She spent many hours on the beach with her children and following many sports to many places as her children pursued their activities. Taking meals to the field, volunteering her time and enjoying time spent with family and friends were her simple pleasures in life. She was always known for her baking, cooking, gardening, caring, compassion, love, friendship and kindness. Meals at the Peardon house were always lots of fun with much food and laughter with friends and family. Aside from her yard Cindy enjoyed curling, watching her children's sports and now grandchildren's sports, but most of all being with her grandkids. They were the apple of her eye and meant the world to her. Words cannot express how much she will be missed by everyone and the sudden passing has hit everyone very hard. She will be sadly missed by everyone whose heart she touched. Cindy was always a phone call away and now she is only a prayer away.
