I would like information about Christopher THRASHER who may have been known as Christoph Dresher (sp?) and his wife and children. General location is Roanoke, Bedford & Botetourt Counties in VA. One son was Frederick THRASHER (1769-1852) who married Nancy (PHELSON, PHILSM, FILSON?)

Among my list of the eleven children of Frederick & Nancy is Delilah THRASHER (ca. 1810-1889) who married Maston JAMES. They are buried near Vinton, Roanoke Co. VA They are my gr. gr. grandparents.

Just getting back into research after about 15 year absence and 15 years ago there was a lot of incorrect data that this THRASHER line was of English descent and I think it was German.
