Farm at Berg in Fluberg, S. Land Under the farm were a total of 10 tenant farms

Source: Regina Louise Mathea (Thea) Berg: Scattered records pertaining to slækten Berg (Berg relationships?) in Land [See Source #45]: He concerned himself with the early loading of trade, and early married himself, namely 1758. Love must have been his only motivation for Margaretha Narum's father was so forramet, that he stood in begreb that had to forlade his farm without even that could get terms. But Chr. Berg bought the farm, provided their in-law parents a decent support, married and lived at Narum for some years. He was a brave and extremely talented man. Everything, what he trains himself to, and succeeded corresponding expense. His time for the superior education has probably been too him a good help me.

When his oldest Sun Gudbrand, married Marie Gjefle, was drikfældig, rail against him farm Narum, formerly havede overcharged him, provide for his family, who got stay on the farm, and used this myself. In his old age, when he had gone to Lars Berg, his son, he stayed his garden at very Narum, which maybe was the founder, my father told saafaa memories of his best fatherly. Narum is very far from the places where the fader travel.

Christian Berg referred to as a spædbygd, handsome man, early tandløs (toothless). Mon stødte "goderaad" in a mortar to him that nyde with coffee, and it broke with the largest fine omhyggelighed flatbread in a servi. He will weather garden love that play stools. This sounds very innocent for a year's load.

rdrbrdrdotrdrw60rsp20 What father told me about his father was the best trade in particular that skov and farms, and their numbers were legion, so it went around me, who was then temlig unknown in those districts, where they lay. The large Lunde Etne Valley, for example, he bought, but sold it immediately to Anders Lunde, later A. Lunde best father. He kept the big mountain pasture and two underbrug, which is now yesterday baths Tollerud and Moland Sveen.

Married 1761, Margaret Narum. (Source #s 44, 45)

  14. (Land Parish).
  15. He resided at Skjak from 1763.
  16. He bought the Skjak farm at auction in 1764. He sold Skjak to his brother, Pal, in 1775 and took over Berg. Pål sold the farm back to brother Kristoffer Gulbrandsen Berg together with the second brother Stener Gulbrandsen Lunde in 1793, but Pål's family continued to live at Skjak, where Pål and Kirsti died.
  17. (He evidently owned it until his death in 1821).
  18. Kristoffer Berg allowed one of his sons [Gulbrand] to use Ankaltrud, and later it was taken over by another son, Hans, who bought the farm of his father in 1801.
  19. Christoffer and Lars Berg from Land Parish owned Hestkinn from 1800 until 1802. [This is probably Christopher and his son, Lars].
