Facts and Events
He was called Christfried Mylius according to the Mylius book. He joined the Electoral Saxon and Royal Polish Army in 1690. In 1703 he enlisted in the Fourth Danish Infantry Regiment through the German colonel von Ende. The regiment gathered in the county of Oldenburg to go against the Danish mercenaries, who under the command of Eugen of Savoie, fought in Italy. This relief corps fought the following years in Hungary and was called back to Denmark in 1709 to participate in the North-German war against Sweden. He was honorably discharged upon applying to King Fredrik the 4th for retirement in 1714 and settled in Bramstedt where he bought some land and lived until his death in 1754. References
