Christopher Mounts is the son of New Sweden pioneer Manns Anderson who moved to Cecil County, MD. A record of his naturalization may be found on line in the Maryland State Archives. See also http://www.colonialswedes.org for information on Manns and other settlers of New Sweden. According to a reference in the MD archives,Christopher may have been an Indian trader and interpreter. Information on his line, which appears to have daughtered out, may be found in the archives of the rootsweb Cecil County, MD mail list. I am interested in a fellow who may have been his brother, Charles Mounts Anderson, alias Charles Mounts. Would like to establish a firm relationship between these Mounts and Joseph Mounts, Sr. & Col. Providence Mounts. Hope this helps....
