Christopher Hoover was born on about 1774 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Lotspeich on 05 Feb 1795 in Greeneville, Greene County, Tennessee. He died on 22 Mar 1844 in Rutherford County, Tennessee.
