Christopher Foot was baptised on 14th May 1743 at Bere Ferrers in Devon, son of Christopher and Mary Foot. In 1773, aged 29, he married Elizabeth Drake. They appear to have had twelve children baptised at Bere Ferrers between 1773 and 1793, although two died young. Christopher has yet to be traced after 1793; there are a couple of burials at Bere Ferrers which may be him, but not enough information to say which (if either of them) is him.
