Mrs. Christine Haxton
Mrs. Christine Haxton, 85 years old, of RR 3, died at 6 o'clock Wednesday evening at St. Anthony Hospital. Surviving are one son, John Howard of Tampa, Fla.; Three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Greiner, with whom she resided, Mrs. Lenore Tryon of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Myran Long of R.R. 1, Lewis; one sister, Mrs. Nettie Brenton of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Services will be at the DeBaun Funeral Home at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning; Dr. Marvin Utter will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Friends may call after 10 o'clock Friday morning.
