Richard & Charity Medaugh are buried in Tuscarawas county, Ohio. They had a son named Ephraim. This is where things get mixed up. Ephraim married Jane ? and they had a daughter named Charity who died 18 Nov 1850 in Willshire township, Van Wert County, Ohio (age 3y 11m 2d). Charity is buried in Ridge/Slater/Liberty Cemetery in Willshire township. Jane is also buried in this cemetery, she died 25 March 1865, aged 48y 10m 5d. Ephraim married again to a Christena "Tena" Dague on 13 Oct 1864. Christena and Ephraim are buried in Greenbriar Cemetery in Willshire township, Van Wert County, Ohio. Christena died 4 Jan. 1912, aged 80y 8m 16d. Ephraim was born 22 May 1814 and died 11 Sept. 1897, aged 83y 3m 19d There is a discrepancy between Jane's death date and the 2nd marriage of Ephraim. Either the death date for Jane was read wrong or the marriage date was recorded wrong.
