Christianburg, VA

Christianburg, Montgomery County, Virginia is named after Christiana Crewey. On March 18, 1793, she gave the land for the Courthouse Square to the County of Montgomery, Virginia, which was named for her. The deed says that if the town does not use the land for a courthouse it is to revert to her heirs. [Source: A manuscript by H.L.
