"Christian Stutzman received a warrant on August 10, 1785 for 110 acres of land in what is now Hegins Twp, Schuylkill Co, PA. The land was patented to him in 1801. There was a Christian Stutzman taxed in Mahantango Twp, in 1802. He also received a half interest in 321 acres, 90 perches with Frederick Denger in a patent on May 27, 1822. Land in the amount of 321 acres and 90 perches was deeded to Peter Stutzman from Abram Schwartz and his wife, Susanna. The deed recites that Christian Stutzman died intestate leaving a wife, Catharine and issue, Susanna Schwarts and Peter Stutzman. The deed was signed October 6, 1826"

The 1820 census indicates both Christian and wife Catharine were living in Lower Mahantango Twp, Schuylkill Co, PA. He married Catherine Eckert, 1788.

Served in the Upper Berks County Militia in Capt Shadel Company under Col. Gehr. (History of the Stutzman Family)

Christian Stutzman is listed as a taxpayer in Mahantango Twp in 1802 - assume it's Christian Stutzman, Jr. not his father Johann Christian.
