In the name of God, Amen, I Christian Bixler of Manchester Twp., York County and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind, memory and understanding but being weak in body do make this my last will and testament in manner following:

Iprimus: I direct my body to be buried in decent like manner and that all my just debts be paid by my executors hereafter named.

Item- I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Magdalena my brown mare aged nine years together with a woman's saddle, the feather bed whereon I now lie, one three cornered cupboard, one chest and two of my best milch cows, I also give and bequeath to my son John the loom with which he always weaves with, over and above his share of my estate.

I devise and bequeath the personal property in manner following. I direct and order that all my personal. property (except what is given and bequeathed to my wife Magdalena and my son John) exposed for sale by my executors and the money therefrom arising be divided in manner following. One third to my wife Magdalena and the remainder to be equally divided among my ten children, share and share alike.

I devise and bequeath the plantation whereon I now dwell containing two hundred acres more or less; to my dearly beloved wife Magdalena during her widowhood to be maintained out of the rents and profits and I do hereby empower my wife Magdalena and my other executor with the consent of the said Magdalena but not otherwise, to expose the said plantation to public sale and the money arising I devise in the following manner, the sum of five hundred pounds to be paid immediately to my wife Magdalena in liew at her claimer, the updue of the purchase money I direct and order to be equally divided among my children, Christian, Jacob, Joseph, Michael, John, Conrad, Magdalene intermarried with Peter Welty, Elizabeth intermarried with John Hoover, Catherine and Eve, share and share alike.

I do further order and direct that in case my wife Magdalena should marry again or in case of her death the other executor shall have full power to expose the plantation afore mentioned to sale, either public or private and the money therefrom arising shall be equally divided among my children before mentioned, share and share alike.

I do nominate and appoint my wife Magdalena and my son-in-law John Hoover to be my executors and to put this my last will and testament into execution hereby revoking all former wills.
